When the blog becomes the front door.

Alliance’s search data shows how much of a commerce site’s audience can arrive through an article—and why those visits need context.

Key points

  • Alliance Chemical’s blog recorded 99,857 organic clicks between June 21 and September 18, 2026, up 18.6% on the previous 90 days.
  • Blog impressions rose 27.4% over the same period, while impressions for the whole domain fell 6.0%.
  • All ten highest-click landing pages from August 22 to September 18, 2026 were blog posts, which is not the same as ten number-one rankings.
  • These are observed changes between two periods, not proof that one edit caused them.

The entry point is often a question

A chemical supplier’s visitors do not all begin with a product they are ready to order. Some arrive while comparing materials or researching an application. Andre manages Alliance’s blog as ongoing work alongside its commerce and information systems.

In the finalized Search Console report for August 22–September 18, 2026, all ten highest-click landing-page URLs were blog posts. That describes the site’s internal landing-page order; it does not mean ten number-one Google rankings.

What the 90-day comparison shows

Between June 21 and September 18, the blog recorded 99,857 organic clicks, compared with 84,191 in the preceding 90 days: an increase of 18.6%. Blog impressions rose from 18,395,900 to 23,438,065, an increase of 27.4%.

Across the full domain property, clicks rose 18.7%, while impressions fell 6.0%. The growth in impressions belongs specifically to the blog. Both findings belong in the report.

Why the measurement definition matters

The blog figures use a /blogs/ page filter. Site totals use property aggregation. Google counts impressions differently under those two aggregations, so the blog impression total should not be divided by the property total to calculate a share.

These are observed changes between two periods, not an experiment proving that one edit caused the increase. The report contains no paid-ad performance or revenue attribution.

Make the next step relevant

A useful article should help somebody resolve the question that brought them there. Where appropriate, it can then connect them to a comparison, product record or technical document. Sending every reader straight to a sales form skips that decision.

For Phasekind, this is why editorial planning and website structure belong together. Publishing attracts an entry; the rest of the site needs to make sense of what happens next.

Questions people ask

Can a blog drive most of an ecommerce site’s search entrances?

It can. On Alliance Chemical’s site, all ten highest-click landing pages in the Search Console report for August 22 to September 18, 2026 were blog posts.

Why can’t you divide blog impressions by site impressions?

Google counts impressions differently under a page filter and under property aggregation, so the two totals are not comparable as a share.

Where should a blog post send its reader next?

To whatever resolves their question next, such as a comparison, a product record or a technical document, rather than straight to a sales form.
